Antler Hunting Pens

Another pen for the hunting enthusiast. This pen features an authentic once-fired .308 rifle casing and a bullet that has been drilled out for the nib. Not only that, but the top of this pen is a piece of antler from a White Tail Deer. On the left side of the pen you can notice that some of the outer stag from the antler is still visible which adds greatly to the character of the pen as a whole. To finish the pen off, a 24k gold plated deer head pen clip accents the antler and bullet and brings the entire piece together. This pen uses standard Cross refills, so it can be re-used and not cause unnecessary strain on our landfill sites.

This pen is FOR SALE -- $50.00 contact me via the ABOUT ME on the right hand side of this page.

Red Oak with Bark Inclusions - Fountain Pen

This pen is truly beautiful, and immediately catches your eye. The wood is Red Oak, and it has bark inclusions that really makes for a unique one-of-a-kind look for a pen. I used a different style of finish to accent the grain and it's high gloss makes this pen "pop."

The Sedona syle is bold and delicate at the same time making it a natural fit for a man or woman. Handwriting is making a comeback in this digital era and this pen is the natural fit. It is a fountain pen, and has an ink pump installed so that ink can be drawn from a bottle.

Sorry, but this pen is already on it's way to a new home. Contact me via the ABOUT ME on the right hand side of this page if you would like me to make a similar one for you.

30 Caliber Pens

To start off the new year, I decided to try my hand at something new and a bit more unique. Here are the results:

Two .30 caliber bullet pens. These pens are made from actual .30 caliber shells and feature real bullets drilled out for the tip. In both cases I decided to turn an acrylic camoflauge top and apply a rifle clip. The gold clip beautifully accents the colour of the polished and powder coated brass casings.

The pen on the right is an actual 30.06 casing, and the one on the left is an actual .308 casing. Both have been once fired and may show some signs of dings and scratches that occured during their use.

Both pens are FOR SALE -- $50.00 each -- contact me via the ABOUT ME at the right hand side of this page.

Decal Pens

One of my customers is a train fanatic. He does the train show circuit selling his wares, and loves the pens so much that he offered a piece of one of his tables so that I could showcase my pens at the train show.

So, what to do? I am also a HO Scale Train modeller, so I had some old HO Scale decals ... so I tried to combine the two hobbies! What do you think of the results?

This first one is a Slimline made of maple and sporting black enamel and chrome accents. It is decorated for the Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Line that actually used to run through right behind my house.

This pen is FOR SALE -- $30.00 -- Contact me via the ABOUT ME at the right hand side of this page.

Next up is one of the giants of the train world. A bloodwood slimline, with satin gold trim and decorated for the Canadian National lines that runs throughout North America.

This pen is SOLD.

Finally, the third pen in my decal experiment was this lovely spalted cherry slimline with gunmetal trim. It has been decorated for the other giant of the Canadian train world, Canadian Pacific.

This pen is SOLD.

Slimline Pens

Well, here we go, and the slimline case is all filled up nicely again. These slimlines are an elegant slant on a traditional pocket style pen. Dignified enough for the businessman, small enough for the most delicate hands, and stylish clipped to your pocketbook.

Some of these pens have already sold, but it gives a good idea of what can be done and the woods available. These pens feature cedar, mulberry, maple, walnut, snakewood, bloodwood, mahogany, purpleheart, black locust, honey locust, and box elder. Might be a couple others in there too.

Most are AVAILABLE and FOR SALE -- $20.00 -- Contact me via the ABOUT ME at the right hand side of the page.

If you are looking for a slimline in a different kind of wood, just drop me a line and I'll make you one custom as long as I can source the wood.

Osage Orange Cigar Pen

Checking out my pen case today, I realized that I am nearly out of stock on slimline designs. So as much as I like to make these Cigar pens, this one will be the last for a short period of time while I build up some slimline stock. Stay tuned for some examples of the slimlines that I'll be turning.

This Cigar Pen is made from Osage Orange, and is a beautiful yellow. Turned with my classic cigar pen styling, it is accented with Black Chrome. As an added touch, I decided to try my hand at some decorative turning and included some grooves aound the grip point of the clip.

This pen is FOR SALE -- $40.00 -- Contact me via the ABOUT ME at the right hand side of this page.

Bloodwood Cigar Pen

This is a Cigar Pen, turned in my classic shape. The Black Chrome Accents are a natural compliment to the red tinting of the South American wood known as Bloodwood.

With this design, and overall large size, this pen is the perfect fit for a professional gentleman. Elegant and classy, but also sized to fit a large hand or help to improve the grip of somebody with arthritic joints or musclular difficulties in the fingers.

This pen is SOLD.
