Chrome Baron with Rib Fruited Mallee

Another of those classy Baron pens. This time it is a Chrome Baron that features the facetted barrel and a removable cap that is postable on the opposite end of the pen to enhance balance when writing and ensure the cap does not get lost.

The wood is an import from Western Australia where it is known for it's outstanding figure and grain. It is a Rib Fruited Mallee and the swirls on this particular piece show off the various brown hues throughout the pen.

This pen is SOLD.

Buckeye Burl Baron

If you are looking for a two piece pen that simply shouts CLASSY, then the Baron is the way to go. This pen has a removable cap that is postable on the bottom to provide enhanced balance when writing, and to ensure the cap isn't lost. The barrel of the pen is facetted, to allow a comfortable grip, that doesn't turn in your hand. The cartridge is a standard rollerball ink cartridge available from any office supply store.

The wood is a rare Buckeye Burl, that shows wonderful shades of blue and grey. Buckeye is found throughout North America, and the burl is a deformed growth in the tree often caused by damage or disease. Buckeye Burl has a terrific swirling grain that compliments it's multicoloured layers.

Antler Hunting Pens

Another pen for the hunting enthusiast. This pen features an authentic once-fired .308 rifle casing and a bullet that has been drilled out for the nib. Not only that, but the top of this pen is a piece of antler from a White Tail Deer. On the left side of the pen you can notice that some of the outer stag from the antler is still visible which adds greatly to the character of the pen as a whole. To finish the pen off, a 24k gold plated deer head pen clip accents the antler and bullet and brings the entire piece together. This pen uses standard Cross refills, so it can be re-used and not cause unnecessary strain on our landfill sites.

Red Oak with Bark Inclusions - Fountain Pen

This pen is truly beautiful, and immediately catches your eye. The wood is Red Oak, and it has bark inclusions that really makes for a unique one-of-a-kind look for a pen. I used a different style of finish to accent the grain and it's high gloss makes this pen "pop."

The Sedona syle is bold and delicate at the same time making it a natural fit for a man or woman. Handwriting is making a comeback in this digital era and this pen is the natural fit. It is a fountain pen, and has an ink pump installed so that ink can be drawn from a bottle.

Sorry, but this pen is already on it's way to a new home. Contact me via the ABOUT ME on the right hand side of this page if you would like me to make a similar one for you.

30 Caliber Pens

To start off the new year, I decided to try my hand at something new and a bit more unique. Here are the results:

Two .30 caliber bullet pens. These pens are made from actual .30 caliber shells and feature real bullets drilled out for the tip. In both cases I decided to turn an acrylic camoflauge top and apply a rifle clip. The gold clip beautifully accents the colour of the polished and powder coated brass casings.

The pen on the right is an actual 30.06 casing, and the one on the left is an actual .308 casing. Both have been once fired and may show some signs of dings and scratches that occured during their use.

Both pens are FOR SALE -- $50.00 each -- contact me via the ABOUT ME at the right hand side of this page.
